some vids posted on www.sportmartialarts.com of chris walker and alex lane, chris of whom i grew up training with and alex who i trained with since he was a teeny bopper.
Both of which, are of course, are doing pretty damn good. Alex isn't that skilled, but he's got these long fast legs that are annoying as hell. He used to get his knee above mine, that bothered me, but he keeps his weight light so he can be taller than the average joe in his division. Then he just has to go against people his size for the grands....
LOL chris and i have been in different divisions since i grew a foot taller than him, but alex will be someone i'd be coming up against from time to time.
I totally plan on wearing a ninja mask at any tournaments i goto for a while, lol. Take it as unseriously as possible, shake things up. I'd wear googly eye masks if they'd allow it. LOL i could just collect some costumes, superman, spiderman, batman, etc. Gorilla. Just wear different costumes and beat people up. Nothing like beating up another guy while you're dressed like a power ranger.
Nah, of course i won't have the room for all that jazz, so i'll stick with the ninja costume. But its a fun thought. But i'm in no way wearing the big loose gi's that everyone else wears. Nope, form fitting leotard-ish ninja costume will work. No baggy top that people can brush with their toes and get points for. Its either direct contact or no contact.
I plan on entering every tournament i can, as much as possible, visiting schools inbetween, and fighting as many people as possible. I would purposely enter a tournament just to practice blocking and dodgin. LOL i don't think i can get away with wearing the weight-vest though, unless i wore a HUGE CRAZY padded vest like they make the <18 wear nowadays, but it wouldn't be worth it if some doosh master broke his toes/ankle/face (in that order) on my metal chest.
Thinking of ways i CAN work out up here, for now, includes: what i've been doing. I could clear out some more room in the garage so i can get back on the bag, which with the vest will be a good idea. I think planning an hour of cardio every day will be a good idea, its gonna be rough because that garage is so damn cold. 20 mins on, 20 mins off, 20 mins back on again, and off one more time with whatever i got left in me should work for starters. I wish i had room to run and sprint. anything not under 2 feet of snow is under 2 inches of ice.
hopefully i can find a job soooon.
I'm gonna cut my hair tommorow, or get a family member to help. I'm comfortable with a semi-fro, but just chopping it all off will be alright with me too. Cro Magnon man, away!
99 nights is annoying now, its not a game of skill by any means, its a game of "hey pretty graphics! wtf that knight just bashed me for 9/10 of my health with one hit, wtf! quick dodge, dodge, dodge button! go! ARGHHHH!!! ASSHOLE KILLED ME!!!! then i howl like a werewolf and rip my neighbors and their kittens to bloody shreds because the programmers made each level take an ungodly amount of time with no checkpoints. I don't recommend it, except for the pretty graphics, and that the lead character chick's boobs bounce n stuff, but dead or alive 4 is 10x better for boobage. All in all, proof that dynasty warriors, or even kingdom under fire, should have a 360 title instead of this. This isn't necessarily garbage, so much as getting the wrong pizza delivered. Good soundtrack, actually, i'll give it that. Sounds good, looks good, plays like a rigged circus game. If you do win, it wasn't worth it.
A wise traveler once said "never take anything you can't repair" which is pretty good advice. Which is why im keeping shit simple.
thats right, my poop shall remain ever unfettered by the common intricacies and complications of modern day life.
i mean, yeah i can't wait to get the fuck out of here. Gonna be a while though.
