the Shhh Room

has a door made of whispers and a knob made of S's.

...

donnie darko will probably never cease to be on my top list of movies i like. I don't mind too much when things i like are also things that are "mainstream" or whatever. the attitude of society, or facets of it (why does the word facet stick so close to society? sounds like faucet. Ahhhh, right. makes sense.) we all like things, i don't personally like things just because they are popular, in fact sometimes i do like things before they are popular with the masses. (usually you younger folks) but sometimes im the latecomer to something, and its cool that some things are so easily....accessible. Pick the diamond out of the slime, let the slime drip off it, no need to keep it in your hand so you can show people how gross it was. Unless you know someone who, of course, studies slime. To each their own, no?

...

i've got a society based on a school system of sorts, and the seasons, that would be the fucking shiznite to live in if ya know, you had enough people in it. The best part? oh im so much of a fucking genius i figured out that if we make it a process, than anyone, from any walk of life, can fit into it. No need to train people or give them some Social Rulebook, just invite the people that shine or have the potential to shine, and let them do what they love, and teach it to others. Kids learn how to DO things, make things, and the older ones teach the younger ones, and so on as they grow up and become better. Include all the mass types of work that benefit people, like gardening and farming and building, with the tool making, and throw in the stuff that falls in line. Learn how to farm while learning how plant biology works. Learn how to build a house while doing geometry and trig, physics, etc. Learn how to make fabrics or plastics or metals and learn how to shape them how to make your own things. If it became common knowledge, at least on a basic level, to know how to fabricate things, older students then know how to make custom tools and things to suit some need. Throw in more advanced science into the mix....and you got the makings of a rather interesting inventive institute. for every field, the general subjects can be applied. Learning becomes fun! pick whatever you want, and get taught everything that goes with it. Music? maybe some acoustical maths or wave physics will help if you want to design a new instrument later on. tie it in with community awesomeness, like festivals and competitions, oh yes competitions. University and a Coliseum. And it would work out rather well.

The hard part: finding enough people to get it STARTED. but itll start small. probably some guy that knows a lot of people, and start a city at sea, perhaps with giant robot assistance.

though i'm not a fan of the cold, underwater would be ok. :D lol id like an island or floating place better, maybe a collection?
