wisdom of absence

the derelict of senses....

what happened to christopher dick? the people will ask themselves. What happened to the straight laced kid? the voice of reason?

what happened..... to all of us...

i almost don't want to know.

almost.

....

i need to get a mouse for this thing, the cad'ing will be easified if i do. its a little wang-chopped with just this touchpad (even if it is a NICE touchpad, with scrolling and stuff)

i feel a little odd right now. like i just saw someone without a smile on their face, and that one person deserves to smile all the time.

makes you wonder, about individuals and how then connect witheachother. and by individuals, i mean myself. and by eachother, i wonder about everyone else.

all i need in this world is someone to love. the opportunity, the jigsaw fit, i am akin to a young arthur, except without the luxury of a great lineage (that i know about), or a wise old wizard, and no legendary swords in stones. So more or less.....just a man looking for a woman. The woman. in the meantime, grooming myself to perchance attract a mate.

tale as old as time, eh?

it hurts a little, but i guess thats about the only thing that hurts me, so i can't complain (i apologize if this does sound whiny. it certainly wasn't my intent. It should rather read....introspectively. as opposed to Waaaaaaah)

i have some designs down that i can work on right now, get some quotes from emachine for parts (the first one, and of course the learning/training project will be something simple, like my custom guitar. Or a custom computer case, something to keep this Muse Vessel intact regardless of Me and whatever i may bring to it.

I feel ....almost awkward at the moment. I'm gonna use both hands to grab the seat of my pants, because if i go flying i don't want to fall off. And i certainly don't want to crash again. Easy does it, stead as she goes, rockin the boat, and all that jazz.

Like any good rock, i can weather it all. Perhaps im just a stone, looking for a pygmalia... lol what an interesting idea.

I wrote a short story the other day, in my head, called "the singing pen" about this pen, forged from the seals of bottles that once held genii (you see, solomon trapped the genii in his SEAL on the copper and brass tops, the bottles were just a distraction.) So a few of these seals got melted down and made into a pen in the early 1800's. It falls into the hands of a young man who is looking for, as it turns out, a frozen princess, something he had read about in an old fairytale book, that was written by the inhabited pen a long time ago. The princess herself is trapped inside a frozen volcano, the last in a line of magical rulers (of course!).

what and spoil the ending? pfffft.... well i'll tell you that there are 2 princesses, actually, and thats that. for now.
