starts with a core

because its hand made, his computer core was not subject to gravity and tehrefor shaped like an egg. its spherical magnificence is only an illusion, its just a laptop.

....

let the specs begin:

inspiron e1405 intel 1.86ghz (with a 533 frontside bus. not a city bus).

14.1" super WXGA ultrashapr blah blah blah its small, which is nice.
1gb memory (ddr2 sdram, 533mhz) (upgradeable to 2 later on)
60gb sata hd
integrated audio and video
8x cd/dvd burner
internal wireless (a/g and bluetooth)
85whr 9-cell battery (best one they had, and i'll be making a custom one later on anyways)

so that all topped out at 1 grand. i googled "dell coupon" and got a 20% off for anything over 999, so i got it back down to 824.

boo yeah. save 200$ for cheating! free shipping too.

---

the s-vid out can be used for the videotransmitter, i already have bluetooth headphones, and get a wireless gamepad (usb more than likely), 50$ lcd screen, and then see about integrating other computer controls (flip out keyboard, wireless mouse/trackball/thingy) all for the wireless attachment. The videotransmitter/receiver works on at least 4 channels (depending onw hich one i get) so i can flip through camera-bugs too, all on one nifty little hadnheld. thats for later

not to mention: PIC programmer board (serial probably), card-reader/writer, and other hardware integration like ventually im going to get a broadrange scanner for ALL types of transmissions, and intercept them (video and audio). this means anything being transmitted past me i can at least tap into. not to mention the HUD with its sensing equipment, a gps card for the computer, and powersource for all this. so that means the extra stuff will ahve to wait til i get a portable power source up n running, which will now be easier with my own computer.

:D

PS: of course, i start on teh resistance suit this weekend.
