veroboardered

that is, i ordered a veroboard today. at the same time, i wondered abuot hoverboards.

so my brother wrecked his car today (lame). he's a tough guy, but it sux nonetheless.

so now what? i watched one cousin play prey for a couple hours today, that is one cool game. sick though. fucking crazy gravity in that game (you go ALL OVER the place, walls, ceilings, shrinking, warping everywhere in and out of these damn boxes. its nutz!) all i managed to do for my project today: find out that lowes and home depot don't carry stainless steel anything, nor honda generators, nor anyhting useful except some small hardware. i'm not gonna go to a lowes or home depot every again, if i can help it, unless its for free shit. their customer service sucks ass. i mean, its fine with me unless i have a question. and they can never answer my questions. for example "will this carbon steel tap work on stainless steel pipe? more than once? do you have any titanium taps?" he had to go find someone, and that person didn't know. so i got the obvious answer of "just do it one half turn at a time and add a lot of oil" no shit sherlock! one lady told me, albeit very politely, that there was "lots of metal up front near the restrooms". o rly? siiiigh. their customer service begs that you know what you are doing instead of actually being of any assistance.

so the only useful info i got was for a plumbing place, and in this great state, anything that isn't a chain is closed on sunday (and beleive you me, there are more family businesses up here than chains, including fast food. its awesome! except for it being sunday part.)

so it wasn't so much relaxing as it was.....just a day. siiiigh.

the puppy crawls up in my lap and falls asleep now, she likes me so much. mostly because im the only one around it all the time. i punish it, i feed it, let it outside, whatever. i don't really like dogs, especially smelling like one. i think im used to being licked all the time now. what else am i gonna do? exactly, i would do that except im out til wednesday. half of the reason i took this much time off was so i could be baked right out of my gourd with no interruptions, only to be OUT because of bullshit! argh.

i know its just a little bit longer, ugh! doesn't make it any quicker though.
