my hands are the extension of my avatar...

siiiigh, its been one of those days. a good day! a good day off.

but that day for my job finally came (all over its face.) today, i don't want to goto work tommorow. i just did this the other day after staying up working all nite, and now i ahve no excuse really. my stuff comes in the mail tommorow and i jsut straight up want to be at home to get the circuit built.

AARRRGGGHHH!!! i hate waiting! i hate it so much when its so POINTLESS!!! i'd have no problem if i could correlate going to work with helping moving this project along. i don't get paid til monday and so now it doesn't really matter what i do or not...except with the circuit at least completed i might be able to borrow some more a few days early to get more accomplished.

i went off the rollercoaster into the wazoo thinking about that guitar.... it was fun. it ended up being a transformable sword and sheild when not in guitar mode. oh yes.

ok the real problem? the strings. the entire bit the strings are attatched to has to remain stiff and inflexible to keep the strings tight and in tune at all times. So really its too much of a handgrip to use unless you have a huge sword, and huge swords are way too cumbersome for actual combat, even if given the lucky chance of being outside in the open fields of blind, slow enemies. seriously.

so i opted to have the sword pull out from the guitar body (the hilt being built into the "bottom" of the guitar, rather from the ass-end as opposed to the top of the part where guitar tuning knobs usually are. and the guitar body slides back and fits over the left hand with the protected neck (the long straight part for the strings) sliding down along the forearm to the elbow, with the body of the guitar (now in "half") spread wide along the neck, without hindering the hand's dexterity or degrees of freedom. (you can still use it for stuff...)

but thats an assymetrical design, and what about the hordes of robots and monsters and zombies that are too numerous to be cut down with just one sword? why the final version is a guitar that splits IN TWO!!! the neck is split long ways, with 3 strings on each side, and the two swords are removed in the same way as before, only now the entire guitar splits in half and the guitar body becomes armored gauntlets for each hand! oh yes! its the ultimate ninja guitar! sweet!

hmmm. snake eyes would want guns. deadpool would have the whole thing be a giant gun with stickers all over it. i dunno. i save projectiles for magic.... yeah! or possibly as some kind of third transformation into a big gun.... yeah! that'll come later. if guns ever become necessary. speaking of which, up here anyone can have a gun. no license or anything. not allowed to smoke cigarettes, but you can carry an AK around. weird. my giant guitar cannon will be a later on project. if i'm ever in need of a giant guitar cannon, i'll know what to do. no need having a giant weapon without giant enemies though. so we'll stick the the still ultra sweet dual sword transforming guitar!

perhaps it'll have two necks, a bass and a guitar, and they'll be "V" shaped...so the whole guitar will look like an X but the bottom half of it will be all curved and awesome with its silvery mother of pearly steel shell scales and dark wood accents and glowing neon green from within...oh yes.

this is how artifacts are made. if people actually came across solomon's lead sealed vessels, you think someone would've told a story about it. suffice to say, there might be a djinn or genie left in some lost pot or lamp in the waters of persia.

OK i just had a doc-brown moment. except it was more a Professor Ruffleberg moment. so thats how someone has ideas like that. they think like this. amazing! amazing.

now if only i could draw.... all in good time i guess. i promise you now, that when i no longer have to work and i'm back with my brother, i should probably practice art at least once a day. hand drawing. to be able to get my points across. express my ideas. allow new forms of lunacy to grasp hold of even more parchment and ink. at least until i can do it electronically or magically from my head straigh to say a screen, or bucket of water ;P

see you later, alligators. work still seems unlikely.

did anyone else watch peewees playhouse tonite? it was...wacky. i wish i was allowed to watch it when i was a kid. i might've ended up a little different... his robot friends voice is the ultimate sweetness of robot voices coming from a boombox boombot. ok its seriously bedtime. peewee and his icecream soup. lol!
